Hi, I am just starting to research my mothers family. I would like to know if anyone else is researching these family members. My mothers parents were George Howat and Golda(Manier)Howat. They lived in Scotland in 1939. My mothers grandparents on her fathers side were: Janie(Morrow)Howat Died 27Dec1941 George Howat Died 4Sep 1967 Age88. I have a picture of the grave stone in Scotland where they are buried, but not sure where the stone is. Also on the stone it said "Their Grandsons : George died 14Mar. 1942 Alexander Died 19Jan 1936 and Annie Howat Buchanan Sister of George Howat Died 11OCT 1959 Age 74. I know my mothers father George remarried and moved to Australia where he died, and had another daugter. My mother Jane has a brother John who is still living. Her brother James died I believe in the 80's sometime. My mothers Grandfather(George) had a brother also named John who lived on(Hall street) in Kilmacolm Scotland, Renfrewshire Parish. I have tried to look up records and such but no luck. I am just a beginner in searching and really do not know where to start. Thanks for reading, I appreciat any help.
