Looking for the parents of Lillias b. 1813 i.e. Charles HOWAT and Lucy COPLAND/COUPLAND of Kirkcudbright, Scotland. Lillias and her husband John CARLYLE immigrated about 1838 to Kalamazoo, Mi. and settled in (1842) Courtland Twp., Kent County, Michigan. Both buried on the original land grant homestead.
