In Reply to: LYMAN HOWE'S FATHER by DIANA SIMONS of 4806

The 1880 census has Lyman Howe and wife Isabel with children Abram E., David E. and Mary Jane. They were living in Groveland, Oakland County, Michigan. The census has Lyman's parents being born in New York state.

There is a Harlow Howe born abt 1809 in New York and wife, Cornelia Hasket, born abt 1806 in New York. Their children was James Harrison, Lyman, Harriet, Emily, Henry, and Ebet Howe. The brother of Lyman, James Harrison Howe, died in Ashton, Michigan.

Don't know if the two Lyman is one of the same but could be.
