George was born Dec 4, 1845 in probably NewYork and died in 1898 in Rush Township, MI. He was married to Mary Marble in about 1870. Can anyone help verify who the parents of George are?
Heresay is saying his parents are Joseph H. b 1825 and Helen Brewer. I have not been able to find George on any census with Joseph and Helen and a biography about Joseph and Helen does not have a George as a child. Trees submitted to Ancestry.com have Joseph and Helen as George parents but, they may not be correct because there is no proof or verification (only heresay)
There is a Joseph Cloyes Howe born 1802 that is a possibility of being George father because in Howe Genealogies by Daniel Wait Howe 1929 there is a son George born Dec 1845 to Joseph Cloyes Howe and Sarah Haywood.
Cemetery records for George shows Joseph Howe as his father (doesn't show the mother) either Joseph could be the father.
I believe Joseph Cloyes Howe is more likely the father.
What does anyone else think?
