Hello,

Who I'm really looking for are the parents of my William Henry Hopkins born Feb 13, 1838 Springville, Erie Co., NY.

I thought Robert & Submit Howe Hopkins might be them, but now my best lead is William F. Hopkins (b. 1811) & Ann Dutcher (b. 1814) who were married in 1835 in the Reformed Dutch Church in Tarrytown, Westchester Co., NY.
William F. Hopkins is the s/o Samuel Hopkins (1786-1846) & Phebe Carpenter. His granparents are Stephen Hopkins (b.1765 Oyster Bay, L.I., NY) & Susan Lawrence.

I did find some info on the Howe's and the Clark's in my search, but it'll take me a while to dig it out.

Family lore say we're descended from RI Gov Stephen Hopkins (1707-1785) signer of the Declaration of Independence. Still trying to find that connection.
