Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Haworth-Howarth yDNA Project
Posted by: Stephen Howarth (ID *****9083) Date: November 17, 2010 at 14:03:13

The Haworth-Howarth yDNA project now has 20 members and provides a growing database of yDNA matches that may help Howarths (all spellings) find links and break through brick walls.

Why not join us? Buy a test kit (for Christmas?) and see how/whether you link up with the existing members.

If you would like to take part please contact me at stehowarth@aol.com or go direct to the project site at www.worldfamilies.net/surnames/haworth and click 'Join project'.

yDNA is only inherited in the male line but Howarth women can often find a male Howarth relation prepared to provide the test sample for them.

Best wishes

Stephen Howarth
