Hi,
You did not provide a lot to go on, but I did check census records for 1930 (the most recent that anyone can access) and there were several families in Texas. Mainly Galveston, Medina, Red River and Dallas. If you can get to a point that you know your grandfather's name, you may be able to find a whole lot more family via the census records. Have you tried looking for death and marriage certificates?
