Do you have anything on John Braxton Howery in the Civil War? He was born in Missouri in 1843 or 1844. His parents are Isaac Howery and Mary Copple. After the war he settled in Leavenworth, Kansas, and may be buried there or in Oilton, Oklahoma where he died. We do not even know which side he fought for, buy probably was in an Iowa unit, although he lived in Missouri - his family was in both states, and his father lived in Iowa. They spelled their names both Howery and Howrey.
