Thanks for the reply, I don't have much info on George W. Howery either. On an 1860 Washington Co. Ar. census his spouse was a Caroline, and the children were James b.abt. 1858 and Margaret b. abt. 1860, and my records show he was in Stephens 1908 then Simmons Co. by 1910 I believe it was a pension application that this was on. I have not been able to find any other marriages or children of George's. Did he remarry in Stephens Co.? George died in Live Oak Co at the approximate age of 92. My ggrandfather was James, and he lived in Menard Texas. There is a long story associated with James. Please email me: k? I have no further information on Margaret other than her being on that 1860 Ar. census. Do you have any further info on her?
I am anxious to find other relatives and have info to share.
later k?
