Janet Howitt was one of a family who lived at 47 James street Calton,Glasgow.They were weavers by trade.I have traced some of their descendants but the only one in England lives in Liverpool.He is a descendant of John Howitt.Fathers name James and mother Elizabeth McKinley of Northern Ireland.The name is reasonably common here in Australia and I think some of them might have come here.
