Am seeking to connect with any one researching the Howitt surname whose family traveled from England to Canada.
My ancestor was Susannah Howitt, bc1794 in England. Whereabouts unknown. She married Timothy P Lacey bc. 1787 in England and died 1870 Durham, Quebec.

John Lacey bc 1817 m. Lydia Randlett
William Lacey bc 1818 M. Elizabeth Welch
Susannah (Susan) bc 1820 m. Joseph Yale
Joseph Lacey bc 1826 m. Emily (?) form Ohio
Timothy Howitt Lacey bc 1828 m. Keziah Haney
All children born in Canada in or near L'Avenir, Quebec, Canada
Timothy Howitt Lacey left Canada and immigrated via Iowa to Massachussets settling near Lowell.
Would enjoy hearing from any one researching any of the above ffamilies.
