I have just started my family history and am looking for henry Howitt.he was born in jamacia in 1838 and married Mary Ann LEE.they had 4 children that i know of Samuel james c 1864 born Ireland,William c 1866 born Cottonera, Margaret A c1866 born Jamacia and johnT c 1870 born Halifax Nova Scotia.mary Ann Howitt was my great grandmother and married John Michael Freeman and they had a son John Henry Freeman in 1886.Henry HOWITT was in the 84th Regiment York and Lancaster foot Regiment.He recieved the Indian mutiny medal as well.I cannot find any marraige or death for him etc.My elderly aunt though he was asea captain.Any help would be very much appreciated.Thankyou in anticipation
