I’m research my wife’s Howitt ancestors. I’m looking for verification and further information on Archibald Howitt (b.1831, Milngavie, Scotland), who went to work in England and, while there, married an English girl (name unknown). They had two children Mary (b.1843) and Archibald (b.1845), his wife died in childbirth. He returned to Scotland and married Ellen Connor (b.1832, Campsie, Scotland). They had several children (Archibald, John, Margaret, Sarah, Henry, Euphemia and Ellen). This Archibald married Isabella Innes and emigrated with their two sons (Archibald b.1906, James b.1911) to Canada about 1912.
Any help in correcting/completing this information or connecting with descendents would be much appreciated.
