Hello,
I am trying to locate any further information on Adam HOWITT,
Married in 1899, NZ to Clara Louisa MORTON.
(Clara Born : 1871c Wanganui)
IGI gives their marriage date as 3 May 1899, Wanganui
Year of marriage is correct as Ive checked it against marriage index, Wanganui as a place of marriage is highly likley as this is where Clara was born and her family lived.
I canot find anything further, I would be interested in locating Adam's place of birth and also locating any familiy from this union. I have not been able to locate this couple burial's in this area as yet and they have no probates in archives search.
I located one Howitt in the 1881 Electoral Roll being a William Howitt area Egmont, so he may be related ?
Ive hit a brickwall so any information or leads will be appreciated greatly.
