Hi Cyndy. Firstly andrews mothers family was possibly a Wright.Secondly get the census 1901 and earlier of Cambuslang from the LDS library and see if you can track the family there.Just keep going back through the censuses.If you find that they have been in the same residence for a long time then get the scottish telephone books and check if the name is still there also possibly the electoral rolls.Also cemetries I have had some sucess with the Southern Necropolis site.If all this fails try looking up the Howitt Family site run by Ed Howitt.Ed is a good man and lives in Scotland and keeps a record of all the Howitt enquires that come in.Also try the Roots web site for Cambuslang and put an enquiry there.
