Thanks so much, Don, for the info. I spent many months researching all that I have - and finally hired a geneologist from Scotland to help. He sent me birth certificates and census records to confirm what I really already knew. My husband and I would love to plan a trip to Scotland and see some of our long lost relatives. His aunt Marge is in her 90's and the last one in the family with any first hand knowledge of Scottish relatives. She gave me a name and address and we were so excited, but later learned that it was from the 1950's, so that Howitt is most likely dead now. How do we get in touch with this Ed Howitt?
Cindy
