Ed, I am curious to find our if we are of the same Howitt line. My husband is Dan Howitt whose grandfather was Andrew Wright Howitt. Andrew and his brother Samuel immigrated to US in 1904 (est.)from Cambuslang area. His father and mother were Robert Howat(notice spelling) and Margaret Wright. Robert was a coal miner and they lived in the Blantyre area. I have more info, but will wait until I hear from you to write more. Thanks
