My husband's great grandmother was Jane Rae b8/25/1878 and married Samuel Howitt b7/13/1878 on 6/2/1899. Jane was from Argyle Scotland and Samuel was born in Blantyre Scotland. They lived in Cambuslang Scotland where the children were born. They were Margaret (my gmother), Elizabeth (Bessie), Mary and Robert. Sam and Jane came to the US through Ellis Island. Sam in summer 1905 and Jane with the children 8/25/1906. Samuel Jr and Alex (sons of Jane & Sam) were born in the US to the best of our knowledge as they didn't come over with Jane. Are we related?
