Information on the Norris line -- my mother's , came to me from her. The data she had was given her by a Lillie May Hamby who in turn received it from Rae Aeberli. I've already made contact with Ray. It seems she had passed the info to Lillie May as far back as 1934. Rae was surprized to see the information resurface by me.

I have been trying to find out as much about Ashford Marion Norris, my GGGF. The records I have show that Ashford was married to an Elizabeth T. House. This was confirmed by my relatives, but they could go much earlier. The info in Rae's data (researched fro the Atlanta Archives) showed my Elizabeth T. as being the daughter of Levi House of NC just as I showed in the last post with the other children. Since I have not researched the data myself, I don't know anything for sure. I have not found any info on Levi House. I believe that there may be some reference to the House line in the Davis Manuscripts I've heard so much about on the Norris Forum. A copy suposedly exists at the Library of Congress, which is a short drive from where I live. I just have to make time to go there.

Dale Vaughn who may have already contacted you mentioned that Elizabeth T. that married Ashford was the daughter of Felix House. If so, I would like to know who the other children I listed for you are? If you can find evidence that Elizabeth Tabitha House, Felix' daughter, married Ashford, then problem solved except for the other children I have. Very interesting problem.
