Howse Family in Randolph AL

The following information is posted for the 1870 Randolph (Rockdale) AL census, page 14/16: James Williamson 20, wife Martha 26. Living with them are the Howse and Rial Smith family.

Can any of you Howse researchers tell me what connection these three families might have to one another. The Williamson family is the brother and sister-in-law of my ggrandfather. My ggrandfather's mother, Frances Couch Williamson married a John Smith after my gggrandfather William "Will" Williamson died in 1858. It is possible the Smiths are some of John Smith's kin. As for the Howse family, I am wondering if they may be the parents of Martha Williamson.
