I am in the process of researching my husband's ancestry, and his gggg grandfather is Thomas Howse b. 1788 married to Mary Churcley (b.1787). Thomas worked land for the Cartwright estate in the Aynho, Northamptonshire area. Thomas and Mary emigrated to Canada in 1832.

Thomas was the son of John (b.1742; d.1820) and Mary (b.1754;d.1818)HOWES. Thomas and Mary had ten children - some spelled the name HOWES,while others spelled the name HOWSE. Their children include the following:
Elizabeth b.1778
John Howes b. 1781 married Mary
William b.1783; d.1827 married Sarah
Henry b.1786; d.1842 married Anne
Thomas Howse (mentioned above)
Anne born & died 1790
Anne b.1791; died 1880 spinster with 2 sons
Mary 1794
Benjamin born & died 1797
James Howse b.1799; d.1875 married Hannah b.1804; d. 1878

I am trying to find the descendants of Thomas's other siblings. I would also like to find some info on Thomas's parents, John and Mary.

Thanks,

L. Howse
