Hi cousin,

I am a direct descendant of John Howes born 1781 in Anyho and the brother of Thomas. His son Andrew married Isabella Blackwell whose son Joseph was born in Anyho in 1837. Joseph emigrated first to Canada and then to Rochester, NY. One of his sons, William was born 1876 in Rochester and was my grandfather. My father, William, was born in Rochester in 1900 and I was born in Rochester in 1936. I currently live in Hawaii and am retired from the US Air Force. I have had the pleasure of visiting Aynho on several occassions in the course of travels to England. One of my great, great uncles, Benjamin (born 1824, died 1873) is buried in the church yard in Aynho along with some members of his family. I have in my possession a partial family tree provided by a cousin of my father's, Mr James Howes of Listowel, Ontario Canada in 1973. I would be happy to send you a copy of this document, if you would like. Let me hear from you. This is rather exciting.

Tom Howes
