What were you asking about these people? I am currently working on the Samuel Hubbard line. I believe the Samuel Hubbard you are referring to is Dr Samuel Hubbard born 9 Aug 1728, St Peters Parish Register, of New Kent Co VA. Died @ April 1825, Campbell co VA, names in his Will in Campbell co Va his wife Nancy. His listed in his inventory after his death as Dr. Samuel Hubbard. First wife was Elizabeth ("Betty") she is listed as Elizabeth in a Deed Documnet they executed in Campbell Co Va., This Samuel who is "Samuel Senr" did a Deed of Gift Document in Campbell Co Va to sons Michl (Michael), and Robert 11 Dec 1797 (includes plantation home and 237 acres, obtained from Campbell co Va Deed Book 4). This Samuel Hubbard is listed with the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) in Patriot Index as # A059382, currently lists his sons Elisha and James, both of whom went to Harrison Co Indianna. His service in the American Revolution was for goods and services provided, not for millitary action, once I get his records I suspect the services he applied for payment for, were medical services. I have sent for DAR records on him, about 3 weeks ago, so hopefully I will get those records in the next couple of weeks. I am working on documentation for my DAR record, of other children of this Samuel, including my ancestor John who is a brother of Elisha and James,,,, this John did a Deed of Gift in Campbell Co Va in 1799 to his "brother Elisha" Deed Book 4 pg 526, in this deed of gift John is transferring 386 acres on Molleys Creek, Campbell Co Va. Do you have any records or information you can share on this Samuel Hubbard line? Leslie Hubbard Walton Notify Administrator about this message?
