Hi Michael,

In 1996 I published a book, "The Hubbard family of Nova Scotia," which included Alma and George Hubbard, sons of Devid Jeremiah Hubbard and Damey Ann Wilson of Woods Harbor, Shelburne Co, Nova Scotia. I have a partial diary written by Charles Hubbard, uncle of Alma and George, in which he writes on 7 Feb 1935, "I will write a letter to my nephew Alma." He again mentions Alma on 8 Mar 1935, “Had a letter from Alma Hubbard living up in Ontario.” Alma lived in Hamilton, Ontario in 1912 according to his step-mother's obituary. In some records he is referred to as "Halma Hubbard." Contact me for more info. Sheila Hubbard Macauley
