Currently a book about the lineage of John S. Bartee is being written. The research is also continuing as the book is being constructed and prepared for publishing.
I’m interested in contacting anyone who has information, or photos, of these following people:
Children of John S. Bartee:
Thomas Perry Bartee, born 1850 – Thomas married Emaline Hubbard, later married Ruth Ann Highbarger;
Sarah Ann (Bartee) Brookshire, born 1852 (Sarah married Daniel B. Brookshire – 1872);
Elizabeth Bartee, born 1855;
Martha (Bartee) -Woodroof - Dunn (Martha married Edmond Woodroof, later married Samuel Appleton Dunn)- Martha later ran a boarding house in Dallas, Texas, circa 1900. She was a widow by then, and was using Woodroof as her last name (Surname).
When finished the book will be available to all who are interested in purchasing it online. This is not being done for profit. It will be available at publisher’s cost.
