In 1885 they removed to Iowa coming through with a team and settled in Lucas County three miles west of Chariton, and continued to reside there until 1892, when they came to Chariton, where his wife died in the fall of the same year. Since that time he has made his home with his daughter, MRS. DAVID FUNK.

WRIGHT and wife were members of the M.E. Church in Ohio, but had never renewed membership here.
For months he had been in failing health with trouble peculiar to old age,
more recently a helpless invalid, the closing of his life coming on Sunday
morning, May 17. The funeral was held from his late home at 1:00 o'clock p
m., on Tuesday, conducted by Rev. Evans. Interment was made in the Chariton
