I just found this one in Rootsweb also (Carol S. Sylvester).Susan died 29 Jul 1868; and on 31 Jan 1869 Reuben married Elizabeth Jane Huckleberry (No. 5).

7.Rachel Huckleberry, b. 1841 IL.Not mentioned in Edmund's estate; I thought she had died young. However, in Rootsweb (C.S. Sylvester) it states that "Rachael" was born 1836, and died 1915, and is buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Centralia IL.
8.Philip Huckleberry, b. 1845 IL.Married 15 Dec 1865, wife unknown.Was married twice.
9. James Huckleberry, b. ca 1847.He is in 1850 census, but not mentioned in Edmund's estate.I believe he may be the James who is mentioned in Brinkerhoff's History of Marion County as the Civil War soldier who was killed 11 Oct 1864 in Rome, Georgia.
Sources are vital records, family records, cemetery records, Rootsweb.
I found an Emily "Cerepta" Huckleberry, b. 18 Oct 1864 in Centralia IL, d. 12 Sep 1927 in Lyons, NE, who married Orange Cordon Smith on 24 Dec 1889.She was listed in a World Family Tree CD No. 7, Family No. 275.It did not list her parents.
I have no further information on the children, but would like to find out what happened to some of them. The family of John Huckleberry, Edmund's father, is sketchy as well.Have you been working on John also? I was mistaken on John's will - Elizabeth was named as the widow.
I also have a copy of Elizabeth Huckleberry's will, which is interesting. She left the bulk of her estate (parcel of land lying in Clark's Grant, Monroe County, No. 238, her part of the above named tract, 78 1/2 acres) to her son David.John had left it to his wife Eliabeth, the property where she is now living to bedivided between sons Edmund and David, and the remaining property to be divided between the two girls, Levina Copple and Cristena L. Huckleberry, after Elizabeth's death. So it would seem that David was Elizabeth's first born. She left one dollar each to son Edmund, daughter Lavina Copple, and daughter Cristena Barrackman; and "I make and ordain my worthy son David executor."
Would like to close some gaps in this family, I'm not sure how some groups found in Indiana records fit in, and where some of them might have gone.
