Jacob's parents were Johann Phillip Huffhines and Barbara Tickle. Johann Phillip was born in Pennsylvania. His parents were Johann Jacob and Annamaria Elizabeth (Surname unknown) Hofheintz. They emigrated from Germany in 1751 on the ship "The Two Brothers". They moved to NC about 1770. Johann Jacob's parents were Johann Jost Hofheintz and Maria Catherina Opperman from Eibelshauen, Hess, Germany.

Jacob's brother Peter, b. 1808, married a Rebecca Boon(e) b. 1808. But I don't have any parents names for her.

Also, a lot of Jacobs cousins were married to Boones.

Sorry this took so long to respond to. If you want to, you can email me directly and I will get back to you quicker!
