I'm wondering if Elizabeth and Catherine had another sister (or close relative) named Lucinda. I have William AMICK and Lucinda HUFINE as the parents of my ggg-grandfather Emanuel AMICK (according to his Hancock County, Indiana death record). I show that Emanuel was born in North Carolina on October 1, 1823. Emanuel was married in Hancock County, Indiana on March 1, 1843 to Hulda MERRILL. I'm not sure when Lucinda died, but I do know that at least two children were born to her. Emanuel would name his first daughter Lucinda. William's second wife was Elizabeth. Up to now, I did not know what her last name was, but it looks like it could be the Elizabeth HUFFINES you are looking for. William marries a 3rd time on 1/8/1843 to Mary Ann POOLE. This marriage took place in Hancock County, Indiana. In the Hancock County Court Records abstracts, it lists that William died July 24, 1856 leaving the following heirs: wife Mary A., Jacob (40), Emanuel (38), Alfred (35), Williams (33), Anna (30 wife of William Chodrick), David (28), Washington (26), Henry (20), Elizabeth (18), Sally A. (8), Caroline (6) and Leander (4). Lydia is mentioned as dying after her father. I would be interested in learning any information you might have on Lucinda HUFINE as well as information on Catherine HUFFINE, including a marriage date if you have one. Thanks.
