Glen -

Are you still researching your Huffine family? I'm working on my Huffine(s), and I have quite a bit, unfortunately, I have more clues and puzzle pieces than anything else...and still trying to find things to back up everything up and help put the pieces in the right place!! With that being said, however, I think your Anna Huffine(s) Hickman might just be a sister to my Great-Great Grandfather Jonathan Huffine (our family line dropped the "s"). My Jonathan was born c. 1827 in Ohio (possibly in Upper Sandusky, I believe). The family then moved into the Pickaway County, Ohio area, then on into Piatt County, Illinois in the 1850's, and some of them on from there. My family line of Jonathan moved farther west into Nodaway County, Missouri in the early 1880's.

I believe your Anna was also in Piatt County, Illinois until at least the 1880's. But, I think she must have moved on at some point after George's death (possibly with one of their children?)as other people claim she died in Lonoke County, Arkansas. (Needs verification!)

If any of this sounds familiar to you, and/or you would like to swap some info, please email me.

LaDonna
