Pierre Valleton and Two-Bits Club in SC

Searching for descendants of Pierre Valleton, du Plessis and Jeanerets and other members of the Two- bits club in Charleston. Many of South Carolina's Huguenots were of Templar descent, Knights Templars having fled into Neufchatel, Noel canton of Switzerland during fourteenth century, and the Two Bits Club where members put two bits or, a quarter-dollar into the hat every fortnight was a continuation of the Templar tradition.
the head of the Templar tradition was Pierre Valleton, intended to be "governour" of this group before his death on shipboard before they landed at Georgetown. None of his descendants among the Valletons, du Plessis or Jeanerets seems to have headed a tradition, yet a distant relation in Silesia, the baron von Beaufort (-Belforte) did maintain a Templar prefectory in eastern Germany and his family continued that tradition until his grandson, the last baron, died about 1854.
