Known spellings for my family name are Hugenot, Huguenot, and Hugnot. My Hugenots came from the Haute Saone and Haute Marne area. They immigrated to New York in 1833 and on to Frenchville, PA. (Per the research of a distant cousin and his wife. They've actually been to France to visit our French relatives, and written a book about our branch of the Hugenot family.)
