There are IGI records of the birth of John Garrett born about 1637 Of Church Stretton, Shropshire, England and marriage to "Mrs Elizabeth Garrett" about 1662 at "little Stretton" and records of all the children I had noted are in the IGI births at Little Stretton.

There is a list of foreign refugees who settled in Great Britain and Ireland before the reign of Louis XIV of
France (1643)and this list includes Francois, alias Vauvi Gamier Garrett.

We have a number of Francis Garrett/Jarretts and I wonder if there is a link...
