Mariendorf and Berlin are in two different states and many miles apart. Most of my Huguenot ancestors have French names because they fled France after the Edict of Nantes. Most of the Huguenots, from what I learned, did not settle in the Mariendorf area. It is still possible that your ancestors settled in the Berlin area.
