Henrie Emberie, also spelled EMBRY sailed aboard the America to Virginia in 1635 (year the French/Spanish war began). He was French, possibly Huguenot. Can anyone help with the name origin and/or the family being Huguenot? They may have settled in England prior to leaving for Virginia...
