PAWSEY - does it have Huguenot origins?

Has anyone got any idea as to the origin of the name PAWSEY? There are some who think it may have Huguenot origins but has this been proved? So far my initial steps into looking into the Huguenot claim have proved fruitless.
Any help/information will be much appreciated.
