MIGNON family

I'm interested in the Mignon family and so far can only find this reference to them from Electric Scotland:

"The Mignons, of which family the Rev. George Mignon Innes' paternal grandmother was a member, were Huguenots, Count Mignon de Chasseau escaping from France in 1688, concealed in a soap barrel."

The paternal g/m was Mary Mignon, b 1749 ENG, apparently d/o Stephen Mignon and Mary, m John Innes. I'm thinking the Count de Chasseau was poss Stephens' g/f.
Any ideas appreciated
Pat
