You need to be wary, as it is not directly from a local record.

==========================
There two other Mignon entries with Scottish births listed; but as they are Census entries for Married ladies, could be misleading.

===========================

The IGI British Isles results from familysearch, do have a slight suggestion of Huguenot, from Presbyterian appearing in some of the few entries; but not definite.

I have tried a google search for "count mignon" and "count chasseau", with nothing significant showing up.

This Web page covers a much later period-

This might be a clue-

http://www.sundayherald.com/print42895
"Today Camphill more specifically Mignon House on the leafy Murtle Estate"

Might be of help!
