Jauncey, Herefordshire England

I am currently trying to trace my family's ancestry further than England. I believe some ancestors in England were the Jauncey family who settled in Herefordshire and bred Hereford cattle for several generations before coming to Australia.
Prior to their settling in England, I believe they fled France following the Huguenot persecution in the 16th/17th Century and changed their name to Jauncey. I am wondering if anyone might hae any information about this particular family or whether anyone could suggest any French surname which may be similar/ equivalent to Jauncey. Any help is greatly appreciated!
