Afternoon Jennifer

According to THE OXFORD NAMES COMPANION, Jerome is of English origin.

So Huguenot connections seem unlikely.

Looking at the name on familysearch-

http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp

the relatively wide distribution over central and southern England does not suggest Huguenot connections; and also none of the entries I have looked at have mentioned the French and/or Huguenot churches in London.

However, it could be that there is a Huguenot connection via one of the earlier female lines.

Only patient research might show this.

Apart from the very few with the last/surname "Huguenot", there is no guarantee that that a particular surname has Huguenot connections, see-
