All of my life I have grown up knowing that my relatives were Huguenots. When they left France, they first settled in Uruguay and then later to North America. While in Uruguay, they changed their names to Hugon so not to be found. I have absolutly no idea what their names were before they were Hugons. My grandmother was born a Hugon in Texas. Her father was born a Hugon in Uruguay, South America.
