I have been researching ancestors of John A. Huhn, son of Franz Huhn and Anna Selzer, both from Germany. I have looked at city directories for Huhns in Detroit from 1866 to 1901. The name Louis B. first shows up in 1881 at 293 Brewster and listed as a cabinet maker. "Louis" shows up as early as 1874 and may be the same person as the occupation is the same. Louis B. shows up at 167 Pierce in 1901. Some of the other names you mentioned appear in the directories, not always at the same address, but may have moved from the family home. I have the info tabulated in an Access file. If you have that program, contact my e-mail address and I can forward it to you.

Do you know who Louis B's parents are. I'm wondering if he is a brother of Franz, who was immigrated to the US. in 1867 at the age of 23.
