Kathy, I have John G.L.married to "Polly" Russell 9 Dec.1806. She was the dau. of Robert russell and Mary Morrison (dau. of James Morrison,one of the three "Pioneer Morrisons"of Cabarrus Co.,N.C.) John G.L. was the eldest of the 7 sons of Samuel Huie and Jane Morrison (dau. of James' brother,John Morrison,my ancestor.) The 3 Morrison brothers came to America from Campbeltown,Kintyre,Scotland in 1750.Samuel Huie's will is on film #1548320 at the L>D>S> Library in Salt lake City.Hope this helps a bit. Willa Zinn
