I live in Alexandria, Rapides Parish, LA and have "done" Green Huie. He first settled in Colfax, Grant Parish, LA. They moved to Alexandria around 1870 and formed a very sucessful newspaper, The Alexandria Town Talk. His descendants sold the corporation to the Gannett chain for big money partly due to owning a city block in downtown Alexandria. There are no Huies left. The line died out. Huie Miller,
