I have the Richard Huie that you are asking about. He is the brother to my GGGGGreat grandfather William (Uncle Billie) Huie. I do have a little bit of information on Richard, more on William of course. I have where Richard is buried, and etc. I do know that he was married two times. The first time time to Ann Stuart, the second time to Julie ?. He married Ann on 1-17-1823 in Davidson Co. TN. He died in about a857 in Van Buren County. AR, he is buried in the Huie Cementary. I do not have his childrens name, but knnow that he had at least ten. He served in War of 1812, and arrived in AR some time after 1850. I would like to share information with you or your neice, so that I can fill in the information on his family. I have not been able to find out who his parents are yet...I am still working on that.
