In reference to Richard Huie in Sarah Huie of Tennessee/Arkansas. Richard was married to Ann Stuart who may have been Julia Ann Stuart. If so, only married one time. He had at least 13 children which included Cynthia (Mrs. Wislon W. Bridges, Sarah, William A., James, George, Nancy, Vina, Thomas C. and Anna all of whom lived in Van Buren Co. Richard served briefly in War of 1812 but in his Bounty Land Claim , it was determined that his service was too short for land to be paid to him.
