I am researching the family of James Hancock and Sarah Scaife of
Fayette Co., GA, who are my ggggg grandparents .....

Margaret T. Hancock, his daughter, married Alexander Lynn 1830,
and was with him in 1840 Fayette census... in 1850, I no longer
see Alexander, and a Margaret, and several of her children (Mary Jane
and George) appear to be living with a person who I believe to
be my James Hancock..(Fayette 1850 census #1022). This Margaret
and the listed children all appear to be about ten years older than
what I would expect for this to be Alexander's family.....
Do you know what happened to Alexander Lynn between
1840 and his death ... where he lived, etc., etc.

any info you have on Alex's Margaret, her parents, or her siblings
would be most appreciated..
