Greetings from England. My name is John Middleton. My partner is Sue Duncan (nee Huke).Sue is currently researching her family lineage. We know the name hails from Norfolk, England, has Viking origins, and is thought to be a corruption of the word "hook".Sue is establishing the Huke line back to the early 19th century(ie when proper records began),and has just written to every Huke(about 60)listed in UK phone books,to help this process. We would be delighted to share our findings with interested parties.
