Thankyou for your response.My partner,Sue,is a Huke,and has established the line of William James (1861); his father James was a painter and his mother was Mary Ann Pitchers, they lived in New Nelson Street, Lowestoft, Suffolk. We assume William James and Emma's children were: James (1888),Ellen (1891), Reginald (1893),Harry (1895),Winifred (1897) and Arthur (1900).One of James' grandchildren is Eric Huke (1942)whom we are in touch with and visiting next week. We have lots of other information about the Hukes above.
