Ambrose was a Blacksmith in Bennington, VT, m. Jane GILMORE 4 Jan 1777, Conway, MA. He d. abt 1800 somewhere near Bennington leaving 3 small children: Mary, m. Jesse Hyde 1799, Lucinda, m. Isreal Chapin abt 1798, Ambrose, Jr. m Dorothy Baker 1805. Widow remarried Eri Densmore. All parties relocated to NY State abt 1798. Request any info on these families and in particular circumstances of Ambrose Sr death/burial.
